Holvis Delgadillo
Holvis Delgadillo became involved in the MVZ when he took Ornithology (IB174) in the spring of 2007. During that class, he joined a team of students that decided to prepare an articulated ostrich skeleton for the museum as a class project. They brought in a 300 pound ostrich and over the semester managed to reduce it to a pile of bones weighing no more than 20 pounds! They have continued with the long and arduous process of constructing a full posed skeleton through the fall of 2007 and into the spring of 2008.
“The MVZ-BSP internship was an unforgettable experience. I made new friends and gained valuable knowledge from working in the MVZ Prep Lab. I will carry the appreciation of the time I spent there for the rest of my life. I encourage all BSPers to apply for the internship. It will be out of this world.”
