The first priority of the MVZ is to ensure the health and safety of its faculty, staff, students and visitors amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. We follow the orders of the city of Berkeley, Alameda County and the state of California as directed by the University of California Berkeley.
As of August 2020, we are working remotely to the fullest extent possible and maintaining the collections with the minimal level of essential staff. As such all normal operations have been impacted. Currently we cannot process any loans, give any in-person tours, and accommodate research access to the collections. Please check back as we update our policies as the situation with the pandemic changes.
For undergraduates, apprenticeships in the MVZ via URAP are open for the fall semester but for remote work only. Please visit our Undergraduate Opportunities page for more information.
