Shanna Tucker
Shanna Tucker began working in the museum in the Fall of 2007, her sophomore year. She started as a Museum Lab Assistant, with the daunting job of helping process hundreds of skeletons through the Dermestid beetle colony in the Prep Lab. She excelled in the position and continues with her job this spring 2008, and is also excited to be enrolled in the MVZ Prep Lab course.
“I knew working for the MVZ would be a lot of fun, but I had no idea how many opportunities it would open up for me! I love the prep lab class. I am learning so much, and what’s so great about it is that I can use what I learn now in my future biology courses. What I love most about the MVZ is its supportive community. Everyone is so friendly and works together really well.”
